This chapter begins by reminding us that we are made in the likeness of God. Likeness means the quality of being alike, the outward appearance of, the image of. We were made to walk in likeness to God, if we so choose too. Next, the remaining of this short chapter discusses mostly genealogy. Genealogy in the Bible is our way if seeing how we are descendants of Jesus and since we all come from the beginning of God's creations, beginning specifically with Adam and Eve, then we are all brothers and sisters. This is important to sink in absorb, especially when you may be tempted to feel any prejudice towards someone, all people form a family of oneness and one blood so there should never be any room for prejudice or hate in your heart toward another person. More importantly, the genealogy also confirms the Bible’s promise that the Messiah, Jesus Christ, would be born into the line of Abraham.

Another thing to take note from this chapter is how much longer the life span was in biblical days compared to today.
